Cowboy Machines
The future is beautiful.
We build robots and tell stories about a future where children, nature and machines belong together. Meet Trick-E: our first robot, and the hero of our first adventure.

Meet Trick-E
A truck with a crane, a face and a trailer
Trick-E is a toy-sized robot truck with a cowboy hat. He has a screen for a face, one arm that works like a crane, and a trailer he tows behind him. He drives around the room on tracks, picks toys up off the floor and drops them in the trailer. Then he looks for the next one.
He's small. He's not fast. He's very keen. He's not a machine that tidies a room while you're out; he's one a kid wants to help.

The stories
Theo, Dani and Trick-E
Theo is eight. His little sister Dani is three. Their papa built them a robot truck, and the truck tells the stories.
Trick-E narrates every adventure from down near the floor: what he sees, what he gets excited about, and what he completely misunderstands. In the first one he goes to school for toy day, packs spare batteries in case the school is in Antarctica, and ends up solving a crime. Sort of.
Read it as a comic in English or German, or listen to it in English.
For developers
A small robot your coding agent can drive
Trick-E is built on parts you already know: a stock SO-101 arm, a Raspberry Pi 5, LeRobot and MuJoCo. Plug him into your Claude Code or Codex agent and it can drive him, look through his cameras, pick things up and put them down, run his skills, and improve them in a simulated room, keeping only what beats the old version.
A character on your desk, with a hat, that your agent can reason about.
- SO-101 arm
- Raspberry Pi 5
- LeRobot
- MuJoCo
- Claude Code
- Codex
Drive
Tracks, cab nod and arm through one motion interface.
See
Four cameras: hat, two doors, arm.
Pick and place
Look, grab, drop, check it landed in the trailer.
Improve
New skills earn their place in a simulated kids' room.
